Morgan Elwy is a musician and poet from Llansannan, Dyffryn Clwyd. Since winning a ‘Cân i Gymru’ in 2021 with the popular reggae song Bach O Hwne, Morgan has released two albums of Welsh reggae, blues and folk songs, Teimlo’r Awen (2021) and Dub yn y Pub (2024). Since introducing himself to the Welsh arts community Morgan has been busy performing, writing, running the Bryn Rock Record label and holding workshops throughout Wales. As well as performing his work regularly and creating theatre with companies such as Arad Goch, Theatr Clwyd and Pigtown Productions, Morgan has been holding poetry and Songwriting workshops in schools and clubs across the country.
