Biography

Gordon Anderson is an essayist and poet. Part of the Literature Wales (Re)Writing Wales cohort 2023, his essays on Welsh art and culture have been published by Wales Arts Review and Art UK.

His poems have previously been featured in Lumin, and he is a regular performer and workshopper within Cardiff’s creative writing and poetry circles. His collaborative digital release Hotel Familiar (2022) featured poems soundtracked by musician Spencer Segelov.

A non-academic writer from a working class background, he is interested in the human stories behind art and its accessibility to audiences, while part of his day job involves organising and marketing literary events and campaigns. He lives in Cardiff, around twenty-five yards on the wrong side of the tracks.
