Katrina Moinet is a writer, poet, and translator from Ynys Môn.
A Bournemouth Writing Festival prize-winner, and highly commended twice by Hedgehog Press, Katrina is published in annie journal, Ffosfforws (Y Stamp), Raw Lit, Mslexia, The Post Grad Journal, Firmament, Wild North Wales (co-editor), The Poetry Marathon, on the Nation.Cymru culture map, and in various anthologies.
Katrina won Globe Soup Short Story prize and their writing regularly places or longlists in international competitions including Mslexia, Fish, and New Writers. ‘Portrait of a Young Girl Falling’ (Hedgehog Press, 2024) is their debut pamphlet.
They run fiction and poetry workshops, host Blue Sky Bangor monthly open-mic night, and co-run the Gwyl Môn Anglesey Writing Festival.
