Pete Evans was brought up in Anglesey and moved to the border lands of North Wales in 1980. He completed a degree in Social and Cultural History and Creative Writing at Glyndwr University in Wrexham in 2023 and has now embarked on an MA in Creative Writing. His second book The Holy Dee came out in 2021 and followed on from Resurrection River on the river Alun. He gives entertaining talks about both books. When he’s not rambling through the rich natural history and heritage of North Wales and the Marches, with notebook in hand, he guides tourists around North Wales and Chester.
