Kathryn Gonzales is an author and poet based in Cardiff, Wales where she lives with her husband and miniature long haired dachshund. As a former Peer Mentor, Kathryn has helped, supported and inspired many at “Growing Space,” a mental health charity and continues to reach out through her debut book offering It’s Not Just Celery. Diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa in her teenage years, Kathryn has experienced great struggle and considers both her art-practice & faith as vital elements of her managed recovery & support.
Her poetry has also been displayed in the touring art exhibition “#EmbraceEquity 2023” alongside other female artists work inspired by the stories of biblical women, a response to International Women’s Day.
