Satterday Shaw has led writing workshops for adults (including women with long-term mental health problems) and teenagers (including Roma teenagers). She has worked in anti-racist education.
She writes fiction for adults and young adults. Her stories and articles have been published in Meniscus, Mslexia, The London Magazine, a Chawton House anthology, Wasafiri, Michigan Feminist Studies, The Yellow Room, GM Fiction, Cree: Rhys Davies Short Story Anthology 2022, Wales Arts Review and other publications.
