Emily Cotterill is a poet who writes about pop culture and ordinary life. She was been published in Poetry Wales, The North, iamb, The Waxed Lemon and a variety of other locations in print and online. Emily has performed at events across south Wales including the Seren Cardiff Poetry Festival, the Penarth Literature Festival, and the Swansea Fringe Festival.
Her debut pamphlet ‘The Day of the Flying Ants’ (smith|doorstop) was chosen by Carol Ann Duffy as part of the Laureate’s Choice series in 2019. ‘Significant Wow’ her first full length collection will be published by Seren in 2025.
