Joshua Jones (he/him) is a queer and autistic writer from Llanelli, south Wales, residing in Cardiff. He is a freelance writer, workshop facilitator and commissioned artist, His poetry and short fiction has been published by Broken Sleep Books, Poetry Wales, and more. He has been commended by The Poetry Society, and has exhibited art and poetry with The Glynn Vivian and The National Museum of Wales. Jones was shortlisted for the Rhys Davies Short Story Award in 2021, and came 3rd place in the Reflex Fiction Winter Prize, 2021. His debut short story collection, Local Fires, will be published in Autumn 2023 by Parthian, and he has a poetry pamphlet forthcoming with Broken Sleep Books in 2024. His collaborative project with artist Caitlin Flood-Molyneux, Fistful of Flowers, is out now.
