Bridget was part of the Representing Wales Programme 2023 and is currently finishing her first novel. An extract from her novel is published in (Un) Common: Anthology of New Welsh Writing (2024) Lucent Dreaming. She has been runner-up in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition and her work has appeared in Cinnamon Press and been produced for BBC Radio 4. She has written articles for The Guardian, Planet and Wales Arts Review. Bridget works as a writer and theatre director and has extensive experience of facilitating creative workshops in prisons. She was Leverhulme Artist in Residence at Swansea University, and has taught creative writing and theatre practice at the University of Birmingham, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the University of South Wales. She is the founding Artistic Director of Papertrail Theatre, a company that specialises in staging new plays from rarely heard voices.
