Biography

Lee Tulfer is a freelance writer and blogger. They specialise in non-fiction articles – mainly history and place writing – and also write reviews and occasional poetry. Their work has been published in The Pilgrim, The Cardiff Review, the Earth Pathways Diary, the Redemptorist Press, and Poetry Archive Now, as well as in professional journals. They have guest blogged for Green Ink Poetry.

From 2021 to 2023 Lee was on the editorial board of Full House Literary Magazine as a poetry submissions editor.

Alongside their writing, Lee is a freelance Dutch to English translator, specialising in family history/genealogy and occasional literary translation.

Lee’s interests include photography, maps, the ruins of medieval monasteries, and the history of how people lived and the houses they lived in. They like to cook, eat, make things (especially with yarn and fabric), and read (mostly non-fiction and Golden Age crime fiction). Half Welsh, half Dutch, Lee currently lives on the Powys/Herefordshire border.
