Cath Barton is an English writer who lives in South Wales. Her published novellas are The Plankton Collector (2018, New Welsh Review), In the Sweep of the Bay (2020, Louise Walters Books) and Between the Virgin and the Sea (2023, Novella Express, Leamington Books). A fourth novella, The Geography of the Heart, is forthcoming from Arroyo Seco Press.
Her short stories have been published in The Lonely Crowd, Strix and a number of anthologies. A pamphlet of her stories, Mr Bosch and His Owls, is due to be published by Atomic Bohemian in 2024.
