Dyfed Edwards grew up on Anglesey, and worked as a journalist on newspapers across Britain, including daily papers in London. He is the author of several volumes, fiction and non-fiction, including “Dynion Dieflig” (Y Lolfa, 2008), “Iddew (Gwasg y Bwthyn, 2016), and “Bedydd Tân” (Gwasg y Bwthyn, 2021). He won the Drama Medal twice, in 2008 and 2009, and his plays have been performed on professional stages and on BBC Radio Cymru. He also writes in English, including horror novels under the pseudonym Thomas Emson. Several of those novels have been translated into languages such as Italian and Turkish. He works as a full-time writer and editor, and also teaches creative writing from time to time. He lives in Kent with his wife, the ghostwriter and editor, Marnie Summerfield Smith.
