Daniel Whelan was born in the North of England but grew up on the North Wales coast. His first novel, The Box of Demons, won Macmillan’s inaugural Write Now Prize and is illustrated by Chris Riddell. The limited edition hardback, produced as an Independent Bookshop Week exclusive, was highly commended at the British Book Design and Production awards.
Daniel lives and works in North Wales.
