Catrin is a playwright. She wrote To Kill A Machine in 2015 and it was performed in numerous venues across Wales, at the Einburgh Festival Fringe, and at the Kings Head Theatre in London. She was a writer in residence at Theatr Clwyd in 2016. She received support from Arts Council Wales to develop a new play in Welsh called Projectio. She also enjoys writing short storiesm and participated in the Aberystwyth Storytelling Festival in 2019. In 2023, she won the prose medal at the Rhys Thomas James Pantyfedwen Eisteddfod in Lampeter, and also the Dyffryn Ogwen Eisteddfod.
