Wendy Holborow is a prize-winning poet, playwright and story writer and was born in South Wales, UK, but lived in Greece for fourteen years where she founded and co-edited Poetry Greece. She has won prizes for poetry and short stories, some of which have appeared in Agenda, Envoi, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Salzburg Review, The Pre-Raphaelite Society Review, Crannog, and many others internationally. She was an International Merit Award winner in the Poetry 2015 and 2016 International Poetry Competition of the Atlanta Review She gained a Master’s in creative writing at Swansea University in 2016. Poetry Salzburg published her collection After the Silent Phone Call (2015) Work’s Forward Motion (2016) An Italian Afternoon from Indigo Dreams (2017) which was a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice Winter 2017. I Address You: A Collage and Ghosts Before Breakfast (inspired by the classics of European cinema) were published as a result of her Master’s dissertation. The High Window Press published Janky Tuk Tuks (2018). In 2019 she was longlisted in The National Poetry Competition.
