Colin R Parsons is a Children’s and Young Adult fiction author. He was born in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales and has lived there all his life.
He’s been a full-time self-employed author for over a decade, but a writer for over twenty-five years. Colin has published over twenty-five novels and short stories. He’s worked with the agency for many years and continues to do so. Authors Abroad book Colin into Primary and Secondary schools for paid presentations and workshops, which he really enjoys. He has visited hundreds of schools in over ten years with the agency Authors Abroad. In August of 2023, he joined the social media platform TikTok with advice for young and adult writers. He became “TikTok Famous” with his videos reaching 70,000 views.
He’s written and published many books to date with various publishers. The Welsh publisher, Black Bee Books. Crystal Peake Publishers and Pegasus Elliot McKenzie.

The author also writes under the pseudonym of Jake Ridge for an adult audience in the genre of Urban Fantasy. His “Killian Spooks Mysteries” series is very popular among Urban Fantasy fans on TikTok.
