Claire is a writer of prose, plays and poetry. Her short fiction features in anthologies by Honno, National Flash Fiction Day and Bath Flash Fiction Award. Recent projects include an audio play for ‘Heart of Cardiff’ with Sherman Theatre and a site-specific storytelling walk for ‘Barry – Making Waves’. In 2023, Claire wrote, directed and featured in ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’, a short film exploring the Penrhys Pilgrimage Way. During lockdown, Claire was commissioned by Literature Wales to create ‘Write At Home’, a series of fifteen short videos using household items as prompts for creative writing. She writes scripts and poetry for Big Start Assemblies and has delivered week-long writing retreats in the South of France. Claire is also learning Welsh and regularly contributes articles to Y Wennol, a newsletter for Welsh learners.
