Daniel Morden has been a professional storyteller and author since 1989. Though he lives in Abergavenny, his work has taken him all over the world, from remote Arctic communities to Sydney Writers Festival. He has written many books for children and young people, including So Hungry and The Adventures of Odysseus.His books Dark Tales from the Woods and Tree of Leaf and Flame won the Tir nan-Og Prize. In 2017 he was awarded the Hay Festival Medal. He is registered as a Creative Practitioner and regularly teaches and performs in schools.
