Huw Aaron is a cartoonist, author and illustrator, primarily of children’s books. He began as a magazine cartoonist, contributing regularly to Private Eye, The Spectator, Prospect and The Oldie, before focusing more on comics and children’s books.
Huw won The 2023 Tir na nOg and Wales Book of the Year prizes for Dw i Eisiau Bod yn Ddeinosor , and has been shortlisted for both prizes for several other books including Gwil Garw,Y Ddinas Uchel,Ble Mae Boc 2: Ar Goll yn y Chwedlau, Pam? , and the bestselling Ble Mae Boc.
Huw is the founding editor of popular children’s comic, Mellten, presented the S4C art show Cer i Greu, and is host of the YouTube drawing channel Y Criw Celf.
