Welcome to Creative Writing @ The Pier – a new workshop series to kick start your writing and learn how to write a compelling story, regardless of the genre you prefer.

The 2-hour workshops will run on the 5th, 12th and 19th of March from 2pm.

Facilitated by local author Sophie Buchaillard, a finalist for the Wales Book of the Year, and the International Bridport Poetry Award, the workshops will be an opportunity to experiment with your own writing under the guidance of an experienced practitioner, get feedback on your writing, and learn how to hook your reader’s attention.

Dr Sophie Buchaillard has taught at Wales’s Writing Centre, Tŷ Newydd, and mentors emerging writers as part of her @growriter scheme.

Workshops are £60 for all three sessions.
