A new anthology of writing by Representing Wales writers published by Lucent Dreaming
On Saturday 13 July, (un) common: anthology of new Welsh writing was launched at Cardiff Story Museum. All the anthology’s contributors were a part of Literature Wales’ 2022-23 Representing Wales programme 2022-23

Featuring new writing from Kittie Belltree, Anthony Shapland, Rosy Adams, Frankie Parris, Jon Doyle, Ciaran Keys, Amy Kitcher, Simone Greenwood, Bridget Keehan, Alix Edwards, Ben Huxley, and Anastacia Ackers.

In their introduction, Rosy Adams and Alix Edwards note:

“What we have in common as writers, no matter what life has thrown us, or where we are today, is that we all grew to adolescence in underprivileged households. …we tread the common ground of “not having”. But our lives are very different and each of our voices spins a different tale….Read on and you will discover (un) common worlds.“

The anthology is published by Lucent Dreaming, an independent magazine and publisher for emerging authors and artists worldwide. This is the second anthology of work by Representing Wales writers published by Lucent Dreaming, with the first Maps & Rooms published in 2022.
