Financial Support:
Schools, libraries, clubs and more can request a visit by filling in the form below, then all details will be discussed directly with Nia. A fee will be agreed directly with Nia, and our Advice for Event Organisers provides useful workshop fee guidelines. You can apply for up to 50% of the writer’s fee through our Inspiring Communities Funding Scheme. Applications should be sent two months before the activity is to take place. Visit the Inspiring Communities Fund section to find more information.
What happens next:
Your application will be sent on to Nia, who will contact you directly to discuss the nature of the activity, to organise a date, and to agree a fee.
Please note: We receive a high number of requests for visits, therefore we can’t guarantee that your application will be successful. However, we are passionate about sharing the joy of words with young people, and would be happy to discuss other options with you.
