Project Information:
This project looks at the essentials of writing a story, enabling Welsh language learners to attempt the tasks theirselves. The series of workshops will involve weekly workshops, practical advice and one-to-one feedback.
Participants will benefit from advice on forming characters, working on structure and the form of the story as well as being set certain tasks before moving forward to creating a first draft.
About Mared:
Mared Lewis is a freelance author who’s latest novel is Treheli (Y Lolfa, 2019). She has also published numerous novels for Welsh-language learners as part of the Amdani series, including LlwybrauCul (Gomer, 2018) and Fi a Mr Huws (Y Lolfa, 2017). As well as writing, Mared is also a Welsh for Adults tutor and tutors creative writing sessions for adults too. She lives in Ynys Môn with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, Pilates and visiting the theatre.
