In partnership with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, we organised creative writing and performance workshops with year 9 pupils from Ysgol Maes Garmon, Mold; Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron, and Ysgol Garth Olwg. The workshops – which coincided with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru’s tour of the production Y Tad – explored the effects of Dementia on the lives of those living with it and those around them.
During a workshop at Ysgol Garth Olwg with writer Aneirin Karadog, the pupils likened Dementia to a city switching off its lights, one by one, throughout the night.
